The Azerbaijan National Assembly has authorised 4 agreements involving visa exemption, preferential commerce, monetary help and navy cooperation with Turkey, media stories stated Sunday.
The Military Financial Cooperation Agreement, the Preferential Trade Agreement, the Security Cooperation Agreement Additional Protocol and the Visa Exemption Agreement, which have been mentioned and signed through the eighth assembly of the High-level Strategic Cooperation Council held in Baku on Feb. 25 with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, have been authorised by the meeting.
With the Visa Exemption Agreement, the exemption interval between the 2 nations was elevated from 30 days to 90 days.
The Preferential Trade Agreement will enable quotas and customs taxes to be lifted on the commerce of sure merchandise between the 2 nations. A committee of consultants from the 2 nations will even be fashioned with a purpose to put this in place.
According to the Military Financial Cooperation Agreement with Azerbaijan, Turkey will present TL 200 million ($29.three million) to the Caspian nation, from which Azerbaijan will obtain services from Turkish protection business firms.
The agreements will come into pressure after the 2 nations’ presidents approve them.
