At least 15 people died and dozens had been injured when a Mexico City metro train derailed off a collapsed overpass on Monday evening, authorities mentioned.
The train collapsed down towards the highway, trapping at least one automotive underneath rubble, in response to authorities.
Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum mentioned a help beam gave out simply as a train rode over it.
In addition to the deaths, at least 70 people had been injured in the wreck on the metro’s Line 12, the mayor mentioned.
A crane was wanted late Monday to assist with the rescue efforts.
